Molecular sieve is a powerful moisture absorbent which has more moisture absorption capacity than clay or silica gel at low relative humidity levels. This means that you can use fewer desiccant to obtain the same performance. A high reactivation temperature ensures that the moisture absorbed is locked in and not released back into the dry packed environment easily. In addition, the reduced weight of desiccant used may translate to a savings in shipping cost due to space optimization and weight reduction. Dou Yee Sieve Pak™ uses molecular sieve as the base desiccant.
